U of L got its first blocked punt since Chad Rimpsey against Florida Atlantic in 2005 when James Bryant just ate David DeFatta’s kick.
Chaz Thompson should have had the touchdown, but he couldn’t scoop up the ball leaving Johnny Patrick to do the honors. Patrick was the Big East Conference Defensive Player of the Week after blocking a field goal last week and returning a fumble for a score against Memphis.
